1994 brought some changes, stemming from one (albeit incomplete) season of running the Lancers. From the Acropolis Rally, all the works cars were converted to Evo II spec (new front bumper and sumpguard, better active central diff, new suspension components, new turbo piping, and later in the year bigger compression ratio, meaning more power). Surprisingly, the cars were quickly brought over to compete in the APRC (with 1994 debutant L4, L5 and L6 MRE all getting runs there, whereas the older -K plate- cars were used in the WRC). There is limited amount of info of the APRC those years, meaning that the events not covered in the posts are the ones I can't find any decisive photos of to know which cars were used. Anyways, improvements to the car made it much easier to drive and much faster of course, but still not fast enough; that step was jumped from Evo II to III. On the contrary, Eriksson won the 1995 Rally Sweden with an Evo II...
