S4 TMR

1999
If it wasn't for X33 MMR or some Evo WRCs, S4 TMR would hold the record as the shortest-serving car in the history of the team, as she was only used in 1999, on two occasions: the Safari and the Acropolis. Two of the hardest-hitting rallies ever, it is still strange to throw away a chassis after only 2 evets...
So, first, the Safari. As the plate-system goes, this was automatically Mäkinen's car, who finished 2nd, but the unwanted help from spectators resulted in an exclusion.
On the way for 2nd place, which was later taken away (Mitsubishi)
Her second and last rally was the famous Greek event, the Acropolis Rally. 50 degrees Celsius in shade, stones as big as a little dog... Not an easy event. But she proved her toughness again, bringing home Tommi in 3rd place.

Whereabouts
As I said, she wasn't even used beyond 1999, so I'm sure she was demolised -but I don't know the reason. Maybe the two roughest event of the calendar caused something structural damage to the chassis, and with new cars being built, there was no point in repairing it. Who knows...
